Mobile Trail Grooming
Donation protected
Season 2...Last season we survived solely on the GoFundMe funds, and a small amount of money from the Erie Sight Center for grooming Asbury Woods. Washington Township also donated a 50 dollar gas card. The real reason we have the grooming equipment is the donations from people like you and a big sponsorship from SKYWALKER TREE SERVICE, without SKYWALKER none of this would be possible. Last year we purchased a Polaris Ranger with tracks for snow (roughly 20,000 dollars), a Cross Country ski groomer with attachments (5,250 dollars), and had some break downs and had to do some repairs (480 dollars). Truck and Trailer to move the groomer donated by SKYWALKER TREE SERVICE. I donated about 58 man hours and hired another gentleman to groom for 21 hours at 15 bucks an hour (315 dollars).
My only real goal is too not lose too much money and provide a service that our area can thoroughly benefit from.
So this year, the only planned income I have is from the Erie Sight Center. I have asked Washington Township for some financial support and they said they will get back to me at the end of December, I plan on grooming Wainer Park up until then if the weather lets me.
Things I would like to get for this season. I would like to get a cab for the groomer, at the very least a windshield. And breakdowns WILL happen so I would like to have some money for that. Of course fuel and money to afford someone else to groom.
Can't donate money, here are some other ways you can help,
-Someone willing to groom, need to have some mechanical background and a little experience with skiing.
-Someone with mechanical experience to help me out with breakdowns.
I am still available to do some mobile grooming for landowners but I intend to focus on Wainer Park but the financial situation will dictate that.
Thanks for your time in reading this! I really appreciate any donation! Think of it as a season pass purchase. Ill keep you updated on the Facebook page "Mobile Trail Grooming"
