For the children, for the world!

Well folks, it's official- I'm going to the Philippines with the Liddle Kidz Foundation!

But I need your help!



 
I've been chosen as an International Global Ambassador to participate in the sustainable Liddle Kidz® International Therapeutic Exchange Program (iTEP). With over 4, 200 applicants I was absolutely honored to make the cut. If you know me, you know that massage therapy and kiddos are two things I get pretty excited about so this was not an opportunity I could pass up! After all,  giving back is what it's all about...and if anyone in this world deserves a chance (and the very best chance) it's the kids!



So, a little bit about the program. The team; made up of massage therapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, child life specialists and other healthcare professionals, will be in the Philippines for three weeks in December 2019. We'll be working in several areas of the country in a variety of settings: hospitals, orphanages and care centers and providing pediatric massage and touch therapy to the children there. We'll also train the children's caregivers and healthcare staff in massage/touch therapy techniques so that the therapy can continue long after we return home. It's always been the mandate of Liddle Kidz to ensure the work is sustainable. 

Your support allows me to be there with the team and allows us to bring the treatment to the kids and to their caregivers cost free. During a previous outreach in India that I was a part of, myself and the team had direct contact with over 3700 people! The impact is just incredible and it ripples out to touch the lives of so many people around the globe.
