Operation Forever Home
Tax deductible
In 2017 the Minnesota Fire Engine Club Members decided it was time to take a step forward with the group on achieving our 501c3 non-profit status, establish a 6 member board, grow the membership of the organization to sustain an operation, find and establish means of funding through sponsorships of corporations, small business, grants, personal donations, and other non-profit giving programs. The Club has also assisted multiple communities within the State of Minnesota and even outside the State by attending city celebrations, helping with birthday parties, and much more.
Now that we have accomplished those goals, the Minnesota Fire Engine Club is ready and excited to take the next steps to successfully continue into the future. We are now launching Operation Forever Home!
What is Operation Forever Home? Operation Forever Home is what the Minnesota Fire Engine Club is launching as a funding campaign to find and purchase our Forever Home. This would include finding a suitable property location to base our operations out of, and to construct a museum to house all our historical equipment in order to further our mission statement of “Educating Club members in the history, restoration, and operation of firefighting equipment and sharing our knowledge through demonstrations to the public at special events, ensuring it remains a part of our firefighting heritage.”
The Minnesota Fire Engine Club Operation Forever Home fundraising goal is $500,000. This funding would help us purchase a property for the club, prepare the land for a building, and construct a museum where we can be open to the public to share the history, have a shop to continue our restoration efforts on our various pieces of equipment, and store equipment ensuring it is ready to continue attending special events around the state of Minnesota and beyond.
We will need everyone's help to make this possible. If you are able to make a donation to this project we would like to thank you for bringing the Minnesota Fire Engine Club one step closer for this to become reality!
