Help Save my Parents House

Hi everyone,

My name is Jayna, and I'm reaching out to you with a heavy heart. My parents, who have always been the rock of our family, are facing an unimaginable situation - they're on the brink of losing their home to foreclosure.

For as long as I can remember, my parents have worked tirelessly to provide for our family and create a safe haven for us all. My mom has spent her life and career giving to the community. From starting the ABC brigade, a group for stroke survivors to thrive and to ensure there is money for stroke survivors the treatment and support they need, to mentoring endless number of students onto achieve their dreams. My mom now needs this community’s support to overcome this major and unexpected life hurdle.

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances and financial challenges, they've fallen behind on their mortgage payments. And due to a lot of hospital visits and lots of medical bills, it went too long unnoticed. And we have exhausted all other avenues to resolve this issue

As their daughter, it breaks my heart to see them facing this uphill battle. They've always been there for me, supporting me through thick and thin, and now it's my turn to be there for them. Mom had a stroke in August 2022 and has some ongoing short term memory issues, and my dad has been fighting Parkinson’s so there have been more than expected medical needs on both sides.

I'm starting this GoFundMe campaign in the hopes of raising enough money to save their home from foreclosure. Every dollar donated will go directly towards bringing their mortgage up to date and securing a future where they can continue to live in the place they've called home for so over 45 years.
