Help us save Tank

On the afternoon of July 22nd I took my best friend Tank to one of our favorite trails in Percy Warner. If you know Tank, you know he is always up for an adventure, and today was no different. He was smiling the whole way there, riding shot gun, where he always is, right by my side. Things changed when he suddenly collapsed halfway through our walk. I carried him nearly a mile back towards the road and rushed him to the closest emergency vet where he was diagnosed with a heat stroke. He was still alert when we got him there, but by the time they got him on fluids he was going down hill. He’s currently at Blue Pearl Veterinary Hospital in Franklin in critical condition. His vet bill is estimated to cost over $7,500 at this point in time and I’m willing to do anything it takes to give him a fighting chance, but could really use the financial help if anyone is able to donate.
