Sound and Vision

We are second year Events Management students at the University of Greenwich. This year we have a task as a group to hold a charity event in February 2020. Our chosen charity is Mind, the mission of this charity is that no one should have to face a mental health problem alone. Approximately 1 in 4 adults and 1 in 10 children can experience mental health illnesses. We all have mental health and it is just as important as physical health. Mental health problems range from the worries we experience in everyday life to serious conditions like stress, Anxiety and depression. 

Our aim is to raise awareness of mental health as it can affect anyone in their day to day life. Myself and my colleagues have decided to do an Art exhibition to raise money in aid of Mind at Greenwich University. We wanted to create an accessible event for all and highlight how art and music are often used as a vice for those who are suffering or have suffered from mental health illnesses.
