SAVE OUR NEIGHBORHOOD
Donation protected
You may be asking why I should care? Well if you live in the neighborhood, this will have an impact on your day-to-day life. This canyon has been left, untouched, for many years and many different species of wildlife call this canyon home. These developers seek to destroy the natural habitat of these protected animals all for personal profit. More development means more traffic for the schools near by. It is up to us to take action and prevent any development now and in the future. This beautiful canyon has no voice so join us to speak for it.
Funds are to support the groups efforts to perform community outreach and cover legal expenses in the defense of our neighborhood.
Together we are strong! Join us ! We are your neighbors taking action today to provide a better future for tomorrow.

The canyon that sits in the neighborhood of Rancho Palos Verdes, was recently purchased by a real estate development team. The husband and wife team of Akhilesh and Janet Jha purchased this canyon and we believe they will use it with the goal of using the “Builders Remedy” provision which allows the construction of multiple units as long as 10% of the units are “affordable units” which they have already started in other surrounding cities.
This state-mandated loophole has allowed the JHAs to overbuild while overriding any city restrictions or ordinances. This state mandate allows builders free reign as long as they have “affordable units” and will allow them to put up as many units as they want as long as some units are kept for lower-income housing. This will allow Akhilesh and Janet Jha to circumvent city ordinances that have been put in place to deter developers like themselves.
