Coast to Coast for Dementia UK
In August, I will be walking the Wainwright Coast to Coast route. It is a 195mile walk stretching from St Bees in Cumbria all the way across to Robin Hoods Bay in North Yorkshire. I am not only looking to complete this, I have set myself the challenge of doing the walk between 4-7 days. Not an easy task with the need to cover the distance of a marathon or more per day in order for this to happen.
I like to challenge myself and I am doing this to raise money for Dementia UK. Over the past few years I have seen what Dementia and Alzheimer's does to people and their families. Raising money for such a great cause will really spur me on to complete this challenge.
I have set a target of raising £500 for this amazing charity but I would of course like to raise as much money as I possible can. Any donations will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Sam
