Service Dog for Blair, Can You Help?
Donation protected
My son, Blair, who suffers with severe TBI (traumatic brain injury),from a car accident when he was 5, is in need of a specially trained service dog. Blair lives in North Carolina, and has been approved to receive a dog from Illinois, but I need help raising the funds to move forward with the process and get the service animal.
Blair has been in and out of the hospital 3 times since February (see the picture above)with new issues relating to anxiety and his heart rate. He has doctor appointments at least twice a week.

What a service dog will do for Blair:
• Alert others if he wanders away or is leaving a building alone
• Initiating tactile intervention when a he experiences sensory overload
• Retrieving medication
• Searching the home to alleviate symptoms of hyper-vigilance
• Provide deep pressure for anxiety and tremors
• Assist Blair with daily living skills
• Blair has declined since the pandemic and needs a special dog
• Go with Blair to his doctor visits

• Very few organizations work with TBI disabled clients who are not veterans, so the SIT group is a God send
Why Blair suffers from TBI?
• He was in a car accident as a young child that resulted in his grandmothers passing and his disability.
• TBI = Traumatic brain injury
By donating:
• You are helping provide a much needed resource for Blair to function on a day-to-day basis.
• Saving his life. A service animal will help ensure Blair is safe at all times (not wandering into busy streets).
• Helping a single mother do what’s best for her child.
Even if you cannot donate, please share on your socials ❤️
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts,
Blair and Michelle
