Tony needs us!

Tony is a 5 year-old Dachshund dog who lives with his parents Marie and Luis in Chicago. When they decided to come to the US so that Marie could pursue her dream of getting a masters in Public Administration, they knew leaving Tony behind was not an option. His move to Chicago went smoothly, and he even made many dog and non-dog friends here. Unfortunately, out of the blue, Tony fell sick and needs treament right away. He was diagnosed with IVDD (intravertebrate disc disease), and he needs surgery right away. The surgery will have a cost of $7,000, on top of all the expenses that Tony’s parents have already paid for. We kindly ask that you help Tony get well again! He is otherwise very healthy and has many years, full of adventures, ahead of him.

Tony es un perro salchicha de 5 años que vive con sus padres Marie y Luis en Chicago. Cuando decidieron venir a los EE. UU. para que Marie pudiera cumplir su sueño de obtener un máster en Administración Pública, sabían que dejar a Tony atrás no era una opción. Su traslado a Chicago transcurrió sin problemas e incluso hizo muchos amigos perros y no perros aquí. Desafortunadamente, de repente, Tony enfermó y necesita tratamiento de inmediato.
