Hi, my name is Ingrid and for almost 16 years I've owned Scales Tails & Paws Pet Sitting and Dog Walking in Central Ohio. Before Covid we had a very successful business, employing 12 people. Unfortunately when Covid hit, we had to lay off all our employees. By 2021 we were able to rehire 2 incredible sitters and things looked like they were turning around. Unfortunately 2023 has been a bit of a rough year and we are still down by almost 35-40% of pre Covid numbers. While we continue to provide top notch care, we have been struggling week to week to make basic ends meet and I am having to contemplate laying off our wonderful team who pours their heart and soul into the animals we so dearly love. I am at a loss at the moment and am devastated at the thought of having to lay them off. I am reaching out for help to avoid that.
