Help for Fordham Small Businesses

As members of the Bronx community, it saddens us to see the destruction of events that took place last night. Yes, we are dealing with unprecedented times at the moment, but it does the justify the looting of you’re own community. This is the Bronx! This is not somewhere that help is easily accessible or reached. Many of the small business were caught in the crossfire which I know many of them are people of color that have most likely put their all and more in opening and maintaining their business. Not everyone has viable insurance for their business unfortunately and this fund will be to help those small businesses out there that you get your breakfast from or shop from daily. We are a community made up of nothing but black and brown people, so I implore you to take the fight to the oppressors and not to those that have been oppressed.
