In Lieu of Flowers - Lindsey Nutsch

Donation protected
On Friday evening, May 5th, the Nutsch family said goodbye to their beloved sister and daughter, Lindsey. She had been life-flighted to the ICU Sunday morning, April 30th, after a series of severe seizures. The Nutsch family spent the following days in the hospital round the clock advocating for the best care possible. Lindsey’s family and doctors did everything in their power, but after a heartbreaking week they had to let her go. She led a vibrant, adventurous life despite the limitations of epilepsy. Lindsey was only 28, and her family is reeling from shock and grief at the loss of a beautiful daughter, sister, and friend.

Lindsey brightened the lives of the people around her with her fun-loving, charismatic personality. She was diagnosed with epilepsy at age 10, but she didn’t let it stop her from leading a bold, colorful life. Lindsey blasted happy music, danced in public, and invited everyone around her to the party of life. Her interests and skills were many. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Plant Science and explored different career paths. She loved outdoor sports, gardening, pottery, oil painting, jewelry-making, playing drums, studying astronomy, sign language, and more. Her passions can’t be limited to a sentence because she didn’t allow herself to be limited. She took everything she could out of life and shared it with those around her. Lindsey’s sudden passing leaves a terrible loss for her family and those lucky enough to have known her.

Not only is Lindsey’s family facing this unimaginable loss, they are also carrying the burden of unexpected funeral costs and extensive medical bills after the life flight and week of ICU care. Her memorial will be held on Friday, May 12th. If you feel moved by Lindsey’s beautiful life and story, anything you can donate toward funeral and medical costs would be immensely appreciated by her family at this time. Please help them know they aren’t alone in carrying this unimaginable burden.
