Michael Walker

Michael Walker, 52, was born deaf and mute. For the Colorado native, life has always been difficult at best. He is on Social Security disability and has worked part-time as a dishwasher at The Ribhouse restaurant in Longmont for the past three years _ despite his inability to communicate. He can barely make rent.
But tragedy struck last week when Walker had to have surgery for a double hernia. his doctor says he won't be able to work for at least two weeks. Because he lives from paycheck to paycheck, he needs immediate help not only to make his rent but to pay medical bills. Any help you can offer him would be greatly appreciated.
