In Memory of Vy Pham

Donation protected
It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of our beloved, Vy Pham.

Vy suddenly and unexpectedly passed on Thursday, January 18, 2024.

Tuesday, January 16, 2024, started out like any other day for Vy and her family, but that evening, everything drastically changed. She was rushed to the hospital after feeling tired and it was confirmed that she had a stroke as she suffered from chronic hypertension. The hospital confirmed she was two months pregnant, but they couldn’t share the good news with her. Unfortunately, a blood vessel that controlled her fine motor skills located on the left of her brain ruptured. The Neurology department declared that her condition was irreversible and there was nothing more that could be medically done for her or her baby. Family and friends were given 48 hours to say their final goodbyes.

Vy was a genuine, selfless, and strong individual who made an impact on the lives of those that she crossed paths with. She always gave to others before she would even think of herself. She had a sweet laugh that was easy to remember. Anyone who knows Vy knew that she had one of the biggest hearts you’ve ever seen, she is an organ donor. While we are losing Vy, we hope you find peace in knowing that her passing will give the gift of life to many others and allow her love to continue to spread through the world.

She leaves behind her beautiful daughter, Sariyah (2) and her boyfriend of 9 years, Leo Lasalle. Her daughter, Sariyah was born a micro-preemie baby and was recently diagnosed with Autism. Vy was the main caretaker handling all medical appointments related to her pediatrician, neurology, eating, vision, speech, and special education school. She was also the backbone for her surviving family members: her grandmother, mother, brothers Jeff and Kevin, nephews Aidan and Jaxx, and niece Xaira. The love that she had for her family was unconditional and had no bounds.

Any contribution amount will make a meaningful impact as it would help cover funeral expenses. The remaining amount would be left to Sariyah as she will be navigating this new life without her loving mother.

Thank you so much for your generosity and for keeping the family in your thoughts and prayers during this extremely difficult time.

Details of her memorial service will be provided shortly.
