Marvin's funeral expenses and support for children

Donation protected
This past Tuesday morning at around 2:45am, our brother was shot and killed in Baltimore. Marvin Keith Mason II was a 31-year old father, brother, and man who lived life with a fun-loving joy and a forward-thinking mindset. Marvin was working on his master's at University of Baltimore's Merrick School of Business , all the while raising his two kids, Marvin III (Trey) and London. He loved photography, technology, working out, movies, driving like a madman, and spending time with his family. Marvin always found a way to make an activity better or more interesting with his presence. We are asking for donations for Marvin's funeral arrangements and any additional money and support for his two kids. We love Marvin and hope that your memories and interactions with him will continue to live on through you.

Below is a message written to Marvin by his younger brother on behalf of his siblings:

I keep feeling like I have no tears left to cry but they always seem to come back when I think about how much you really impacted my life, our family, and everyone you interacted with. You were shot one time in the chest and yet it feels like we were all struck by that same bullet when we found out that you were no longer with us in life. You were everything that we wanted and needed in an oldest brother: even-keeled, intelligent, adventurous, confident, and supportive. You always had our back and we always had yours.

The memories we had together...continue to flow out from our hearts. Camping at Masonoka, the second Thanksgiving and roast, Reindeer Games on Christmas Eve, the sibling tattoos, the piano rollout in Baltimore, the perfect random family photo shoots....these moments will forever be cherished. 31 is way too soon for us to say goodbye. It's way too soon for us to not see you at the house, slurping up a pack of Ramen noodles as we watch anime. Way too soon to not be with you during the holidays, just chilling like we do. Way too soon to stop being a great father for your kids. One shot in the middle of the night took decades of future fatherhood milestones and brotherhood moments from our lives. We are still all in shock. Despite this, know that your...legacy will continue to be honored through our family. We love you and you will always be our big brother.
