Giving Back to the Roy's

You’ll never meet a more amazing human than Marty Roy. Selfless, funny, positive, humble, loyal family man and friend, avid mountain biker, fitness enthusiast, firefighter, and adventure seeker. He and his wife Joanne actively support both their daughter’s passion for triathlon and racing. Dedicating hours and resources getting them to events including nationally and worldwide.
Recently Marty and his family were broken into while they slept. The intruder (a 16yr old punk who the police caught) accidentally woke up their oldest daughter in her bedroom while he was rummaging through her things. Pretty scary!
The intruder(s) stole purses, hundreds of dollars (some of which was babysitting money the girls earned), iPods, cell phones, both vehicle key fobs and the family car. Thankfully no one was harmed in all of this.
Some of you may also know that about six months ago, Marty’s garage was broken into where several bikes (both mountain and triathlon) were stolen. Their house insurance covered only a small worth of the bikes. Selflessly Marty opted to ensure that his daughters bikes were replaced, but there wasn’t enough insurance to replace both his and Joanne’s bikes.
Because the Roy’s are such an amazing family, we want to help support them. Knowing Marty, he would never allow this, but we want to reach out to friends and family who would like to help out with any kind of monetary donation (no amount is too small). We’re hoping to raise enough money to give back what we can to the girls, and if there’s enough, for Marty and Joanne to get bikes.
No one deserves to have their home or safety violated, especially twice in such a short amount of time. Please donate if you feel compelled to. It’s going to a great family.
