Jazmine's Medical Fund
Donation protected
On Monday, August 31st 2015, my dear friend (Adia Washington) found out horrifying news that no parent wants to hear. Her daughter Jazmine Rosemond (Jazzy) was walking to her bus stop on her way to school and while crossing Dorr Street she was struck by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle that struck her stated that they didn't see her. Jazzy was immediately rushed to the Toledo Hospital with severe injuries to her face and her leg shattered. The doctors performed an emergency surgery on her leg and at least two more surgeries are scheduled to follow. Jazzy is currently in the pediatric intensive care unit of the hospital.
Jazmine is 15 years old and has just began her sophomore year at Roger's High School. She is faced with a long road to recovery. The doctor's expect her hospital stay to be extensive and when she is able to return home she will require a home health aide, hospital bed, wheelchair, personal tutor, etc.
Adia runs a single income household while taking care of five children. The medical bills from this tragic experience are extensive. ANY and ALL donations are greatly appreciated.
Thank you and God bless. I will post updates as I get them.
