I am of Haitian descent and I love the people of Haiti.

The plight of the prisoners in Jeremie, Haiti, is one of starvation, misery, and abuse. With no room to sleep in
overpacked conditions, they take turns sleeping during the night, as they cannot all lay down at once.
Conditions for livestock is better.

My goal is to raise awareness and money to give them one good meal each week, to fend off constant hunger, and to provide a small glimmer of comfort and hope.

Each meal costs $700 to feel 400 people. I set a "goal" of $10,000, but really, the goal is to change prison
conditions in Haiti through human rights efforts.

Until then, we will feed them. I expect this to take time, so please, let your gifts continue over the long haul,
giving on a weekly or monthly basis for as long as it takes. Thank you so much for helping to bring light into a
dark place.
