Spring Anjali House to Greater Heights in 2019

Anjali House was created fourteen years ago with the vision of a future in which all children have access to quality education and the assistance they need to grow and be happy and healthy. 

The Problem
In Cambodia, children living in poverty often miss out on the opportunity to get an education or even a chance to play and enjoy their childhood. Because of this lack of education, most of them become low-skilled adults living in poor conditions.
 

The Solution
At Anjali House, we offer children of Siem Reap the opportunity to socialize in a safe environment and develop skills to help them grow and become the best version of themselves. Our four programs – Education, Basic Care, Young Adults and Family Support – are designed to help children free themselves from a future that seemed to be already written for them. With access to these programs, they can break out of the poverty cycle, have a better future and meaningfully contribute to the development of their community.

Over the years our NGO has been growing and today we provide Education, Basic Care and Family Support to 120 children from 5 to 19 years of age.


Your support
In the past, your donations have helped us deepen our existing programs, but they have also enabled us to reach out to the community at large. 13 new students joined Anjali House in 2018.

But in order to continue improving the lives of Cambodian children in 2019, we need your support. Your contribution to this campaign will allow us to continue to positively impact our students’ lives through our programs.

It’s important to remember that we have fought for any opportunity in our lives and that all people in this world weren’t born with the same advantages.

Your donation can help in so many ways. For example:
 
$50 pays for 2 meals a day for a month for 5 children
$100 pays for evening English classes for a month for an additional 40 children from the community 
$300 pays for all English course textbooks for a year for our primary school children
$500 pays for a semi-annual medical check-up for all children by Angkor Hospital for Children
$1,000 pays for public school uniforms and study supplies for a year for 25 children
$1,200 pays for hygiene supplies for a year for all the children
