Scarlett’s Fight Against Leukemia
Donation protected
**Please see the “update” section below for current information on Scarlett’s journey!** Hi, my name is Amanda and along with my sister Samantha we are starting a fundraiser for our 1 year old niece, Scarlett, who was diagnosed with T Cell ALL (leukemia). Our sweet Scarlett has already had 1 month of chemotherapy treatment which ended with a bone marrow biopsy to see how much leukemia was left. Unfortunately, the results of the biopsy showed 40% leukemia still left in her bone marrow (most children have 0% and little have 25% left, which is the range we hoped to see) Scarlett will now need to continue chemotherapy for the entire month of December - through the holidays. At the end of December they will do another bone marrow biopsy. If the chemotherapy still isn’t working as we hope they are talking about putting Scarlett on the bone marrow transplant list, which will put them in the hospital 100+ days. This go fund me will help our brother and sister in law with expenses while they are by Scarletts side at Children's Hospital for gas, food, and any necessities they will need. It will also help with taking a burden off of them with their monthly bills while they are away and help with medical bills that are sure to pour in. We are trying to lighten their burden in any way we can so they can spend their energy and time on Scarlett.Every dollar given will be so appreciated. We're humbled already by the outpouring of love and all the prayers. We couldn't ask for better friends and family who we know will be by our side in this very difficult time. We could never repay or thank you enough for your generosity. We love Scarlett more than words could ever say and we know Tyler and Lindsey and our entire family would be eternally grateful. We ask everyone to please continue to pray for our niece while she continues her journey of healing #scarlettstrong
