Emergency surgery

Hey y’all! As most or some of you may know my brother Jeremy has been dealing with some health issues. He began to have seizures last year sometime around mid July. He has been in and out of specialty doctors, hospitals, primary doctors etc. Needless to say he has racked up some pretty decent doctor bills alongside with keeping a household and raising his little girl with his wife.

Fast forward to Friday Oct 20th, he had another seizure but this time was much different and very traumatic. His dog Atlas that he has raised since it was 6 weeks old turned on Jeremy and attacked him while he was unconscious. Thankfully Candice, Jeremy’s wife was at home when this happened however the dog acted so fast before she could react and the dog attacked Jeremy in the face. Bit him several times including his lip, ear, and his arms. Jeremy was rushed to the hospital knowing he would have to have some kind of plastic surgery to his lip and his ear.

Unfortunately Jeremy has no insurance and of course the hospital denies any surgery (plastic) to help fix his lip. At this time his ear is their main concern due to a vein that is very concerning so he will have surgery for that. Doctors have said they want to discharge him ( with no surgery ) to his lip because it’s considered “cosmetic”. Let me just say he has HALF of his top lip left and it is VERY open.

With all of that being said everything is out of pocket. We are asking for this amount to help get him this surgery he needs and to help cover many other medical expenses he has accrued over the past year and many medical bills moving forward.
