We, Arawak Community Trust, have been delivering family-focused community events for the past 12 years.

We have delivered: -

Family Fun Days and BBQs to excite and energise the whole family, from sack races and egg and spoon races to 'dry bun' eating contests.

Black History Month events
Children's Christmas Party

The Family Sports Funday and Caribbean BBQ was originally set up to bring the family together and recreate the real fun and games that used to exist in the community. The event started out as one Sunday afternoon in July but over the years they have been so popular we now deliver 3 special days in June, July and August.

Since its inception the event has welcomed hundreds of families to the playing fields of the Xcel Sports Centre in Coventry and we are now setting the dates for the 2023 events.

In partnership with The Coventry Caribbean Association, we are planning several other events and projects in 2023, all aimed at bringing families and the community back together and that includes the repeat of the very successful Reggae Fever Carnival and Concert.

Our next event is the Childrens Party on the 18th December 2022.

To date our events have been self-financed, through fund raising activities, but this year due to the Covid19 restrictions we have not had the opportunity to run any fund raisers.

So, we could do with your support and help to ensure we can deliver the events so many families have enjoyed over the last 12 Years.
