Stem Cells Needed

Hi, my name is Kristin. I’m the lady who was hit by a piano. I was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and a piano fell off a truck, crushing me underneath. I sustained a spinal cord injury, and have been a paraplegic since.

After the accident, I worked very hard, and walked, using long-legged braces and a walker. About a year later, I fell on a concrete ramp that was not up to code, breaking my hip. Which after being told it was not broken, I walked around for a month, doing more damage and needing surgery. After that, I broke my femur, using another not up to code ramp. I worked very hard again, and got back up on my feet.

I moved to Honduras with no medical care for 14 years, where I was involved in a boating accident, breaking my fibula and tibia. I was in an elevator, when the cable broke, causing me to free-fall 20 feet, leaving me compacted, and almost completely bedridden.

Two years ago I moved back to my childhood home, and once again have been working very hard to recover from the physical and emotional trauma.

I have had a hard life, yet have managed to stay positive and upbeat, doing what I am able for others.

It has been almost 30 years that I have been trapped inside my own body. I’m in constant pain and now have to use a wheelchair and other assistive devices.

The benefits of stem cells for recovery from paralysis have been known for quite some time, yet is still not being used in the U.S. I have been accepted for therapy at the Stem Cell Institute in Panama. While the results may not be 100%, they are substantial and quite close to miraculous.

The possibility of standing or even walking again, with reduced pain is possible, although expensive. With your donations, you would be giving me the possibility of a new and more complete quality of life.

All of the money received will be used for the Stem Cell Institute’s recovery process.
