INVEST IN OUR YOUTH

Hi. We are St Patrick's Youth Club based in Keady, which is a small border town in South Armagh. A rural community.

We have been operating since the swinging sixties and are still going well after all these years.

Our members range from 7yrs to 18yrs of age. We provide a range of activities and programmes to engage with our young people 5 nights a week.

The young people we work with are from a multicultural diverse background and they have a variety of needs and abilities which we embrace and cater for in all our programmes.

Due to a lack of services and investment in our town there is very little resources for our young people, this makes them at risk from antisocial behaviours and potential for criminal exposure.

We endeavour to provide alternatives to this by engagement in our youth club, providing training and volunteering opportunities to build resilience and confidence in our young people.

We rely totally on grants and fundraisers to keep our youth club operating. Due to cuts in funding and an increase in cost of living we are appealing to the wider community to help us raise much needed funds to sustain our youth club.

This money will help us with the maintenance upkeep of our premises.

It will help with transport costs to facilitate trips and outings.

It will help purchase much needed equipment and resources to support our activities.

It will help us support training and development needs by funding trainers and speakers to support programmes.

We appreciate that everyone is feeling the pinch in their pockets, but even a small donation is very much appreciated.
