Support a Family After a Devastating House Fire

Yesterday, my best friend and her family experienced a devastating loss when her house caught fire. Tragically, they lost a beloved pet in the blaze, though everyone else managed to escape with only minor burns. They now find themselves without a home. In light of this, I’ve welcomed my best friend and her dog, DD, into my home until her and her elderly family can find new accommodations. If anyone is able to contribute to this campaign, it would mean a lot.

Statement from my best friend, Savanna: "This house has welcomed and housed many friends and family in need. Our beloved family home has perished in a fire. There are some minor injuries that have been treated at the hospital, my grandparents, my mother and I are alive. Two out of three pets are alive, we lost our dearly beloved cat Buster. We have nowhere to go. We are trying to get a hotel to stay in temporarily until we can move forward finding permanent housing.”
