My gorgeous ten-year-old niece, Olivia, has never spoken to me. She loves me and I love her.
Olivia was born with an incredibly rare genetic condition that means she will never walk or talk. Profoundly disabled, Olivia needs 24-hour care and support.
Five years ago, my friends and I completed Tough Mudder, raising money to buy Olivia a supportive swing for her school. It was a simple gift but one that has made a massive difference to Olivia and all the children.
Olivia is older now and.... and taller and heavier. Her mum and dad now need a tail lift vehicle so that Olivia and her wheelchair can easily be raised into her minivan.
So on the 15th April, I will be running my first marathon in Brighton. Please support me to help Olivia. I will be so grateful for every single penny raised that contributes to Olivia's fund.
