Our friend, John

Needs your help with his medical expenses, as well as being unemployed for several months as he heals from an unexpected injury that turned into a significant surgery. Johnny was doing his friend a favor when he took the leash of his friend’s large dog, and took off running down the street with him to give him some exercise. Unfortunately, the dog took John for a run, not the other way around, and John landed in a heap on the sidewalk. What started off as a severely broken collarbone that needed surgery, turned into a body that is rejecting the plates and screws needed for his collarbone to heal.

John is an extraordinarily gifted, talented and charming hairstylist, who stands on his feet all day, and lifts his arms up in the air to cut, color, and style hair. After two difficult years with the pandemic decreasing his wages, he is now completely on the sidelines enduring IV drip antibiotics while his body heals. He will then undergo an additional surgery to remove the hardware that his body does not like. This is resulting in several months with no income. Self-employed artists generally do not get to collect unemployment.

That’s where we come in. We are two of John’s close friends, and we are asking for any donations to go towards his rent, his medical expenses, and his living expenses. Anything will help him during this difficult time. We appreciate your consideration and good wishes for Johnny!!
