In Loving Memory of Lea - Support for Her Daughter, Ella
Donation protected
Dear friends and community,
It is with profound sadness that we share the devastating news of the sudden passing of Lea—a beloved mother, partner, and friend. Lea’s life was tragically cut short at just 32 years old after an unimaginable sequence of events.
While traveling back to Germany, her home country, to introduce her six-month-old daughter, Ella, to her family for the first time, Lea’s kindness and selflessness shone even in her final days. On the flight, another passenger was violently ill, and Lea herself became sick shortly after. True to her character, Lea messaged her mothers’ group to warn others, concerned only with ensuring they were safe on their upcoming trips. Despite being gravely unwell, she apologised for what she feared might seem like complaining, showing her selflessness even as her own health deteriorated.
A day later, Lea was hospitalised after her condition worsened and was diagnosed with pneumonia. Despite receiving medical care, she tragically suffered a pulmonary embolism and passed away that same night. Her sudden passing has left her family, friends, and community in shock and heartbreak.
Lea leaves behind her beautiful daughter, Ella, and her loving partner, Josh, who are now facing an unimaginable loss. Ella will grow up without her loving and devoted mother, and Josh is navigating life as a father and sole provider while grieving this overwhelming tragedy.
Lea’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering care for others touched everyone she met. From her involvement in her local community to her friendships forged during fitness classes and coffee dates, she was a source of light and support for all those around her.
Now, as a community, we have the opportunity to come together and support Josh and Ella through this heartbreaking time. Your donations will help ease the financial burden and ensure Ella’s future is filled with love and care.
If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this message to help us reach others who may wish to contribute. Every act of kindness makes a difference.
Thank you for your compassion, generosity, and support during this time of grief.
With gratitude,
Friends and Loved Ones of Lea
