UPDATE:
Over the past 24 hours we witnessed here an amazing Kiddush Hashem. Almost 600 caring Yidden from around the globe chipped in to help a family in need. In less than a day, we raised almost $35,000!
The Ehrlich family is eternally thankful and express their utmost appreciation to everyone who donated to this cause.
It is our hope and prayer that Hashem will see what Yidden have done for a family of Yesomim and He will in turn console us all and redeem us from this exile.
May we only share Simchos in the future, may the family be consoled among the mourners of Tzion and Yerushalayim and may we all merit the Ge'ula Shleima very soon.
PLEASE NOTE:
We have set up another fund to continue to provide much needed financial support for the family. Anyone who wishes to participate in this mitzvah can click HERE: http://bit.ly/1cyqbrD

R’ Moshe Ehrlich was niftar on June 2,  2015, after being diagnosed with cancer a few short weeks ago, leaving behind children and grandchildren. His petira was so sudden that his family does not possess the funds to provide for his burial. Just a short 1.5 years ago Mrs. Ehrlich was niftar from a long fought battle with cancer and now the family was taken by surprise when their father passed away last night.
He was niftar more than 12 hours ago. However, the family cannot fulfill the proper minhag of Jerusalem not to leave a meis overnight because they cannot pay for the funeral.

In his short 63 years, Reb Moshe Ehrlich z"l made a difference in the lives of many people. The son of the renowned Yiddish composer and folk singer Reb Yom Tov Ehrlich, he preserved the memory of his illustrious father, was a beloved son, husband, father and grandfather, and was deeply respected by his hundreds of friends in the United States, and later when he moved to Eretz Yisroel.

It is now our chance to make a difference for his family! They are still mourning the untimely passing of their mother not yet two years ago.

The family must come up with $35,000 for the chevra kaddisha to provide him with a proper burial and to help provide for the young unmarried children left without parents. Klal Yisroel gained so much simcha from the Ehrlich family! Let's be there for them at this time!
