Jeremy Golden's Ghana Study Abroad Trip
Donation protected
Greetings. I am Jeremy Golden, a senior Industrial technology major with a concentration in mechatronics at Tennessee State University. I have been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to travel to Ghana from June 3, 2024, to June 16, 2024, through HAEC. HAEC (HBCU Africa Education Coalition) (HAEC) allows students to study abroad and exchange, using a Pan-African model designed to promote Pan-Africanism, Global Competency, and Leadership skills among students of African Ancestry. I and other student leaders from HBCUs and African Universities will focus on the principles of Identity and the Primacy of Africa, Humanism, and African Unity and Socialism, allowing me to take action to make my local, national, and international ecosystems more Equitable and Inclusive . In November of 2023, I received my acceptance notification from HAEC to study abroad in Africa for the Summer of 2024. Since my acceptance into the program, I have received a partial scholarship. The total trip cost is 4,500. However, my remaining balance is 2,000 dollars. Thank you in advance for taking the time to read and donate to my trip.
