Hello all, my name is, Anna Valencia, and I am Mark Hannigan's sister and Maryann's sister-in law. On Sunday November 29th, their family lost their home and all of their belongings in a house fire that started in their furance. Thank God everyone made it out ok but they did lose a few of their family pets. As heartbreaking  as this has been for them and their daughters...it's been so overwhelming for us to receive such an outpouring of generosity and kindness of so many. Luckily, they have  insurance which will help them in the future and a warm place to stay while they figure out next steps.

Many have asked what their immediate needs are and what folks can do to help. I have set up this fund to help with purchasing food and basic goods along with clothes for the family to help them get back on their feet.

Gift cards to grocery stores or retail stores such as Walmart and Target are great too and can be mailed to 1 Court Street, Alton, IL 62002 Att: Maryann Hannigan. 

Thank you again for all of your support, love and generosity. It has meant so much to them as they begin to rebuild their lives.
