Cars for Afghan Friends in Vermont

Hi everyone, My name is Jennifer and I am a teacher in Brattleboro, Vermont. I am fundraising for two young Afghan women I know, who are in the process of beginning their lives here in southern Vermont. They left Afghanistan in 2021 with only what they carried in their small backpacks, when they realized their lives were in danger. 

Now in Vermont, they are aspiring to pursue further education and balancing a busy work schedule. 

This fundraiser for a down payment on a car is to assist them with being able to get where they need to go! Both of them have just finished a driver’s ed program, and are about to obtain their Vermont driver's license.
