Help Chassé Overcome Challenges

"Chassé doesn't have a bad bone in her body ... except for all of them."
23-year-old Chassé Bennett needs help to pursue her goals of living independently, going to Art School, and doing what she can to make the world a better place.
Chassé is the 3rd oldest daughter of Vyckie Garrison - founder of the spiritual abuse recovery website, No Longer Quivering.
Chassé was born with a crippling bone disease called Hereditary Multiple Exostosis (HME ) ... bone growths on all of her joints and ribs which means chronic pain and over two dozen surgeries beginning when she was only three years old. Nearly all of her medical treatment has been through Shriners Children's Hospital which provides free services until age 21.
Chassé lives at home with her mother and younger siblings, although she has big dreams for her future and has been working towards independent living. Having been raised in a Quiverfull home until age 15 (when Vyckie left the movement, divorced her husband, and enrolled her 6 kids who were still living at home in public school), meant that Chassé received a sub-par home education -- adding another hurdle to the physical challenges she faces.
In the past few years, she was able to earn her high school diploma and has taken 2-3 classes per semester at the local community college. Her disability prevents her from working or going to school full-time (and often, even part-time), so she mainly relies on a small Social Security disability income along with support from her family.
It's Time for Chassé to Pursue Her Dreams
In the next few weeks, Chassé has an opportunity to rent an apartment near Omaha Metro Community College to attend Art School.
Chasse's life experience of constant pain and numerous hospital stays has made her extra compassionate with a strong desire to make the world a better place any way she can. She loves animals -- especially Mia, her therapy cat. While in Omaha, she plans to volunteer at the animal shelter and she also would like to be involved with many social justice causes.
What Chassé Needs ...
#1: Transportation
Chasse's bone condition makes using public transportation a laborious task which she rarely is able to handle successfully.
Ideally, there's a super nice person with a reliable vehicle they'd be willing to donate to Chassé -- that would be incredibly awesome. Short of that miracle, she'll need to buy a car.
#2: Friends in Omaha!

#3: Money ... of course :)
Please help support Chassé as she takes this bold and exciting step toward independent living.
