Help My Dad Beat Cancer

I am creating this GoFund me account for my dad, Chris McCreary, who was diagnosed with grade 4 glioblastoma this past February. Glioblastoma is the most aggressive type of brain cancer. These are fast-growing tumors that require extensive treatment. Before he was diagnosed he had a craniotomy and biopsy on January 31st and it has been an extremely taxing recovery. Immediately after being diagnosed, he continued his journey with 6 weeks of radiation and 2 weeks of chemotherapy. Unfortunately, chemo had to be stopped due to low platelets. Thankfully, after his first phase of treatment we were told his tumors have slightly decreased in size. However, further treatment is needed to control this very aggressive cancer and improve his overall health. The first round of chemo and radiation were extremely harsh on his body. For this reason, we are considering an alternative approach for treatment. These facilities that we are looking into are VERY expensive and all are out of state. The money that is donated will be used towards medical bills, and other expenses that come with treatment, such as travel, and living arrangements while being away from home. This whole journey has been beyond difficult for our family to navigate. We would greatly appreciate any amount of support, even if it means just sharing this post.
