Help Alexis fight breast cancer

Hi everyone! Thank you for making your way to this page. We are writing this for our dearest friend and brightest light of our lives, Alexis. Alexis is a vibrant 38 year old Mother, Wife and Teacher.

 

On July 6, 2022 Alexis was diagnosed with stage 2 HER2-positive breast cancer after finding a lump in her right breast. It's an aggressive form of cancer, but there are two major positives to focus on: First, Alexis caught this on the early side and moved very quickly. Second, this type of cancer is very responsive to medical treatment. Alexis will have to go through 18 weeks of chemo, followed by surgery and then more treatment. This will be a long journey, emotionally, physically and financially.

Alexis means the world to so many and now she desperately needs our help. Our goal with this fundraiser is to alleviate the burden of hefty medical bills and living expenses, so she can focus on what really matters—getting healthy and kicking cancers ass! We just need your help along the way!

Lastly, Alexis and Shane really appreciate all the help we as a village can offer. Alexis is still trying to process everything and trying to focus on enjoying the summer with her family.
