Kelsey Neal's Recovery Fund

Kelsey Neal is the most loving and courageous woman I know. After a routine physical checkup with her doctor in January, a small abnormality on her neck led to an ultrasound, which was followed up with a biopsy of her thyroid, and resulted in a diagnosis of Papillary thyroid cancer (most common form of thyroid cancer). On February 27, 2015 she chose to have a thyroidectomy ,removing the whole thyroid and 50 cancerous lymph nodes. She now wears the scar of her surgery for life, and faces over 4 months of recovery time, medication for life and a year of monitoring to ensure she is cancer free. Kelsey isn't one to ask for help. She's strong and proud and she gives more than she takes. However, with her upcoming RAI (radio active iodine treatment) on June 12th, There will be strict protocols to follow before and during treatment and she will practically be isolated from the world for almost 7 days. During this time she will take that time to heal, rest, cleanse, let this iodine do its job, stay positive and find inspiration and continue to find self love and courage. It goes without saying that the cost of this RAI and the time off of work without pay is not fair. We all want to give Kelsey as much love and support as we can, but let's also give her peace of mind by offering her some financial relief. She's so important to us and she deserves a chance to heal without the worry of money. Please show your support for her as she embarks on this next chapter of her recovery.
