Thank you for stopping by to support Natalie.
Recently we found out that sadly Natalie has developed Stage IV Cancer in her lungs.
This isn’t the first time Natalie has fought the dreaded ‘C’ word – a few years ago she was diagnosed with melanoma, which spread to her lymph nodes and was later removed.
Natalie recently returned from what undoubtedly was the best year of her life – travelling around Europe and studying abroad in Venice.
In Venice Natalie was totally in her element – her extended authentic Italian family was a train ride away and she had every history museum at her doorstop.
Venice was also where Natalie met the lovely Alexander (who hails from Germany) – they instantly fell in love and started planning for their future together.
Alexander has relocated to Sydney indefinitely to be with Natalie and, along with her family, has provided huge emotional and physical support during what has been a difficult time.
Natalie is currently completing three months of immunotherapy and while the treatment comes with a long list of horrid side effects, we are all confident Natalie is going to make a full recovery.
We are reaching out to you today for you to spare any amount you can provide which will relieve some of the financial pressure on Natalie and her family during this time.
Your generosity will help Natalie with:
- Specialist bills
- Medications
- Psychosocial support for Natalie and her family
- Visa expenses for Alexander to remain in Sydney
- Nutritional supplements and general care.
Being the generous selfless girl she is, Natalie will donate all unused funds to the Melanoma Institute in the hope that we can find a cure for this goddamn awful disease.
In support of Natalie, Sasha will be completing her first half marathon in September and a group of us will be taking on the City 2 Surf.
We will post the full details shortly if you’d like to join Team Natalie.
Please Share Natalie’s Story to ensure that we can best support Natalie as she beats cancer once again.
With Love and Many Thanks. xx
