DEFENDER OF DEFENDERS

On July 15, 2014 a group of Land Rover Defender owners woke up to Law Enforcement and Federal Investigators confiscating their vehicles.  The vehicles were deemed to have been illegally imported into the US.  Discrepancies with the vehicle’s VIN numbers placed them newer than the 25 years old required to be imported into the US.

After speaking with various owners about their situations, Will Hedrick decided to get involved and represent the owners of the vehicles that were impounded.  On top of Will deciding to represent the owners, he was representing them Pro Bono.  Will has been part of the Land Rover community for many years and has a passion for these vehicles.  

Nearly a year after the Federal Government impounded the vehicles, the vehicles are now being released and are to be returned at no cost to their owners.

This GoFundMe account has been created by a group of Land Rover Defender owners to recognize the efforts put in by our friend Will Hedrick.  Without the time and hard work dedicated by Will, these owners would possibly never have been reunited with their beloved Land Rovers.
