We are JAG (Jobs for America's Graduates). We are trying to send students to the National Student Leadership Academy (NSLA) in Washington DC. NSLA is jam packed with competitions, workshops, and touring our nations capital. There are 8 JAG students from DCHS hoping to attend all of whom have worked extremely hard in JAG by participating in our Career Association (JAG Club), Career Development Conference (JAG Wide Competitions), being class motivators, and serving the Decatur Township community.
Very few JAG students have had the opportunity to travel or attend professional events before so this is an amazing opportunity to reward them for all their work!
Our Costs for NSLA:
Student Registration: $400 x 8= 3,200
Room Cost: $170 per night x 3=$510 x 5=$2,550
Travel Cost: $200 x 9 = $1,800
Miscellaneous/buffer: =$450
Deadlines:
Registration needs to be paid before October 15
Hotel rooms reserved by October 15
