Noah Shiffer's Eagle Scout Project

Hello all, my name is Noah Shiffer.

l am a Life Scout in Troop 164 out of Albion NY.  I've been in Scouting since l was 7 years old. Scouting has taught me so much about myself, leadership , and guiding others in every day life. Through scouting, l've ziplined over the mountains of West Virginia, backpacked the Upper Penninsula of Michigan, slept within feet of sea lions, and l've even met Mike Rowe.  Boy Scouts has exposed me to some amazing people and I've made friends from all over the world!

So now l'm getting ready to do my Eagle Scout Project. What might that be you ask? Our county's Hospice' memorial garden needs a pick me up!  On the 20th of June, I will be leading my troop and other volunteers as we replace topsoil, spread mulch, plant flowers, and paint benches.  $500 will pay for the necessary materials and supplies. l hope to raise this cash by the 17th. I'm really excited to have this opportunity to give back a small fraction of what has been given to me.
