Lipoedema surgery

Thank you for all your generous donations, Nicole is currently awaiting a telephone consult with Dr Somia in Sydney. At which point he with assess the best surgical procedure and treatment.
His current costs have been quoted at $17,300 per surgery.

I’ve known Nicole since the day she was born. She is now a single mother of a teen and 2 school aged children. To me she is such a beautiful soul and everyone that knows her would agree with me. Recently she’s been diagnosed with a life altering disease called lipoedema. A progressive painful fat disorder that impacts on her day to day living.
The only solution is a specific type of liposuction, an operation which comes at a huge cost. It is not medically recognised in Australia and receives no funding. Without this, the disease will progress and impair on her ability to walk.
