For a Bone Marrow Transplant

Hello my name is Teresa I’m normally the one helping others but I’m now asking for help. November 13,2023 my life was forever changed with a diagnosis of multiple myeloma. I have a mass on my Femur and the cancer ate through my bone and broke my leg. Thank god the trauma team was able to save my leg with a rod and many screws and nails. I also have lesions on my spine. I’m currently in chemotherapy and finished my radiation. Next will be a Bone Marrow Transplant hopefully in April. I’ve worked for 38 years I’m not used to being homebound. I’m hopeful that the transplant will allow me to go back to work this summer. I give it hell each day and am very thankful for my two children who look after me and my family and friends who lift me up everyday. My medical bills are over 380,000 currently. I even have good insurance. I’m just getting by on long term disability right now and I’ve got to pay for my part of my insurance. I’ve got to have this transplant to live! I know OSU James Cancer will want to know how I’m going to pay for this transplant. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please keep me in your prayers and share with friends and family. God Bless
