Support a Resilient Family in Crisis

Hi my name is Rachel! I am a single mother of 3 with 2 in the home and we reside in the huricane Helene natural disaster area of Asheville NC. Normally I drive for Lyft and make special occasion cakes and my daughter is in the food and beverage field. Due to this disaster I have temporarily lost my job and my daughter has as well. My son's job as a 9th grader is to make good grades in school, but now he has no school to go to until they reopen. The mental anguish of the losses of our jobs and the bills due is getting unbearable. This is day 10 and still no power, water , service and so on. We have applied for Fema and Unemployment finally as we were able to get proper service yesterday, but that is never a garuntee, so I am asking for any help to help us in this momentary crisis. My family are very thankful to every person on the ground helping us eat and have an idea what has even happened to our region!
