Medical Volunteer: Cusco, Peru
Donation protected
I am so excited to share that these past few months have been very transformative for my faith. Along with completing a degree in Pre-Medicine and Spanish, I have been searching for ways to apply these fields to better serve the Lord. This June, I have the opportunity to work as a volunteer on a medical project in Cusco, Peru. Upon arriving, I will be paired with a team that will focus on areas that need the most help. I will likely be assisting with rehabilitation exercises, feeding or bathing patients, and most importantly, providing companionship. I have realized how each of us are given gifts that help us to glorify God best when we serve, whether that means behind the scenes setup, organization and planning, or connecting with people. I believe that I have been given an ability to connect and sympathize with people in a unique way, which is something I hope to bring to the people I will be serving in Cusco.
