Dana's AVM recovery

Our names are Beth and Jessica, and we are asking from the bottom of our hearts for your help with our mom's medical expenses.
In March, she called us and told us she thinks she had "an incident".
We rushed over to her apartment. She was okay, but after researching her symptoms (and subsequent testing), she had suffered a TIA or Transient Ischemic Attack , sometimes known as a "mini-stroke". Her doctor ordered a bunch of tests, including an MRI which found an anomaly in her brain. This anomaly turned out to be an AVM, or arteriovenous malformation. She had surgery to remove it on August 31st, 2015 and has been recovering ever since.
After being in a comatose state for about 2 weeks after the surgery, she finally started to respond neurologically. After 19 days in ICU, she was transferred to another facility. Her recovery after that seemed nothing short of miraculous. She was gaining health and strength and showing great improvement.
The day she was to be transferred to an accute care facility for intense physical therapy, she stopped responding neurologically. They took her to the emergency room and she was readmitted to the ICU. She had swelling on the brain, pneumonia, and other infections that made her weak and very ill.
She is back on the road to recovery, but her employer is terminating her employment. She does not yet qualify for SSDI. We cannot afford to keep her apartment. We are putting her posessions in storage until she is able to live on her own again, and somehow we have to pay for her COBRA heath insurance so she can keep getting the care she needs to get well again.
Anything you donate will be used to pay for the storage unit and her COBRA insurance premium, and whatever is left will go towards her medical bills. We do not know how long it will be before she is fully recovered. Her insurance with her job will run out November 30th.
This has been a rough road, and it's not over yet. We were not expecting this outcome at all. We will be eternally grateful for anything you can do to help us keep our mother in the hospitals and facilities she needs to become the vibrant and healthy woman she used to be.
