Jeremy needs surgery

My son Jeremy had surgery last September for a perianal abscess, a rare issue that caused him excruciating pain. He'd been in pain for a while but kept hoping it would go away. He finally asked me to take him to the ER, where we spent many hours before they rushed him to surgery. We hoped that would be the end of his issues, but no such luck. He has been to the ER several times since then with infections and pain, as well as to follow-up appointments with the surgeon, and eventually with a specialist surgeon.
The specialist told Jeremy in June that he needed surgery to repair a fistula that had developed following the first surgery. He scheduled the surgery and all was going well until the surgery facility called to say they need payment in advance.
Jeremy is uninsured and lives with me. Because he lives with me, he doesn't qualify for Medicaid and we can't afford insurance for him. He's too old to be on my employer's insurance, unfortunately. He has already amassed an incredible amount of medical debt in the last ten months, and our finances can't take another expense.
Right now, we have no choice but to ask for help so he can get this surgery as soon as possible before an infection spreads and makes the whole situation even worse. If the surgery goes as hoped, he will only need one procedure, fingers crossed.
I thank you in advance for any help you can give Jeremy!
