Wade and Brittany Start from Scratch

Hi, we are Wade and Brittany Belcourt, long time residents of the Gallatin Valley.

The morning of January 22, 2023, our camper caught fire and burned to the ground.

Wade was luckily the only one on site, and thankfully escaped the blaze with only an injury to his ankle but with nothing else, other than the clothes he was wearing. Brittany and our two dogs were in Missoula at the time of the incident, caring for Brittany's father who is recovering from a major shoulder surgery. We don't believe our kitten escaped.

We lost everything. Important files and paperwork, books, clothes, hunting gear, memories, projects, technology, and phones. We have to start over, almost completely from scratch.

For obvious reasons, we are trying to move into an apartment. Housing costs here are difficult. We need help getting into a place but Wade and I can make enough to sustain a household once the move in cost is covered. We are looking to raise a minimum of $7,000 to assist with clean up of the fire, and to put funding down on a safer and more stable housing situation.
