Wade Wylie

Hello everyone, my name is Zach and I am one of Wades best friends. For those of you unaware, Wade was hospitalized at Covenant hospital initially three weeks ago before being transported to Henry Ford hospital this past week. Wade suffered a heat stroke while working on his property. Initially he passed out from the heat stroke, but he began vomiting violently and repeatedly for an unknown time. He managed to make a phone call and an ambulance transported him to Covenant. Wade managed to tear over 2.5cms of his Esophagus, something very rarely done and VERY hard to manage to do. He was rushed in for emergency surgery and was then placed on a ventilator afterwards and placed into a medically induced coma as they awaited the surgery results. Wade woke up not many days into the coma and laid in a hopital bed for another two weeks. Unfortunately, the surgery still left a cm or more of a tear and he was rushed to Henry Ford hospital as they were more quipped for the next step and process. They placed him in ICU and surgically placed a stent into his esophagus. He currently awaits the results as he lays in his hospital bed. Wade has not been able to eat or drink since he had the stroke and will not be able to do either for a long time as well. He has a feeding tube as well as other tubes in currently. The next step or process is unknown sadly, however, one thing for sure is that Wade has been off of work for a month now and will not return to work for months to come. This has left Wade with no income for a month and no income for a minimum of a few more months as well likely, if not longer. Wade has a great support system from his family, but needs his friends and people now more than ever as he awaits the future of what is to come. Wade is a warrior and and I know he will continue to fight on, but any help along this way to relieve one less worry for him would be amazing and appreciated more than people know.
