Wade’s Wheelchair Ramp

Alisa and I are reaching out to help a team member in need. Amanda goes above and beyond for others and we want to show her the same compassion in return. She has been experiencing some medical hardships involving her brother.

After her mother passed, she took over responsibility for her brother, Wade. Wade has been previously diagnosed with cerebral palsy, autism, & a traumatic brain injury. About 3 months ago he started experiencing increased weakness and multiple falls. The last week of July he stopped walking all together. He was admitted to the hospital followed by Roger C. Peace for rehab. After therapy at Roger C. Peace, the medical team informed Amanda he would be wheelchair bound. Before he was discharged from Roger c. Peace, a neurology consult was put in for Wade. The next day neurology ran test. He was then diagnosed with CIDP (chronic inflammatory demylenating polyneuropathy). He was then transferred back to hospital to receive IVIG infusion treatments. On Thursday 8/25/22 he was discharged back to Amanda’s home.

Amanda wants to continue to care for her brother at home. She needs a wheelchair ramp built for Wade to be able to get in and out of her home. We are looking for donations to help make this possible for Amanda. She has gotten a quote of approximately $2500 for a ramp to be built. She is actively getting quotes from others as well. We are setting this up so when she has final quote, she can have the funds to pay for the ramp. Any donation will help!! Thank you for all your kindness and generosity ❤️
